Perry Public Schools Social Media Campaign & Staff Training
The Challenge
This mid-Michigan public school battled decreased enrollment and an unengaged community and looked to Galapagos for help. Galapagos trained their staff on customer service and supported their marketing efforts with social media graphics, brand standards, and design templates to accommodate a limited budget. The launch of service standards rounded out their needs and helped them to create consistency and accountability for support staff with public-facing positions.
The Goal
To develop a branded social media campaign, together with staff customer service training to positively shift public perception and community identity and reverse decreased enrollment.
The Approach

Develop and deliver tools, guidance, graphics, and graphic templates to engage the district’s Facebook audience.

Half-day training session with district employees focusing on customer service and accountability.

Develop an editable newsletter template the district can design and distribute throughout the community.
The Results
With some planning and preparation, we provided the district the tools they needed to engage with their community both digitally and face-to-face, improving communication from the district and creating positive brand awareness in their community.
